Be Mimos ("we", "our", or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Chrome extension.
By default, Be Mimos stores all data locally on your device:

To maintain reliability, Be Mimos may send limited technical diagnostics to our backend:
Diagnostic reports are sanitized before transmission and can be disabled in the extension's Debug Logs settings. We do not include chat messages, prompts, responses, chat titles, full page URLs, authentication tokens, or payment information in these reports.
Remote AI Selector Healing is disabled by default. If you explicitly enable it, a limited DOM snippet or screenshot of the active AI page may be sent through our backend to Groq solely to repair a broken page selector. Because the active page may contain conversation content, enable this feature only if you consent to that transmission. You can disable it at any time in settings.
When you explicitly select a .tex file and click Convert, Be Mimos sends that file's source
text and sanitized filename over HTTPS to our authenticated backend at api.getmimos.net.
The backend uses the source only to compile the requested PDF. Each compilation runs in an isolated
temporary directory, and the source, intermediate files, and generated PDF are deleted from that directory
after the PDF is returned or the request fails. Operational logs record the account identifier, sanitized
filename, input size, and success or error status, but not the LaTeX source itself.
